We are located on the site of Holy Family Catholic Primary School in Millbrook. We work in close partnership with Holy Family and the wider group of partnership schools led by Executive Headteacher, Gerida Montague, MBE. Some of our apprentices are placed within the partnership.
Bath Spa University – PGCE partner
PCP SCITT are pleased to work in partnership with Bath Spa University, an Outstanding provider of Teacher Training, to award the Post Graduate Certificate of Education (PGCE).
PCP SCITT PGCE trainees are registered as students with Bath Spa University and have access to their online Library and their VLE site (Ultra). PCP SCITT provide taught sessions and assessment and Bath Spa moderate and validate the qualification.
Bath Spa University’s PGCE is designed with SCITTs and for SCITTs, in order to ensure that critical thinking and reflection form an integrated part of both QTS and PGCE programmes and, as a result, an integrated part of each teacher’s practice. Learning is placed at the heart of each assignment, in order to form explicit links with classroom practice, QTS and the Initial Teacher Training and Early Career Framework (ITTECF).
