PRIMARY CATHOLIC PARTNERSHIP TRAINING BASE
 
A designated building, on the site of Holy Family Catholic Primary School in Southampton, is used as the training base. It comprises of a teaching base with dedicated lecture room, Library and lounge area, administration area, cloakroom and kitchen area. The training base has separate access from the lead school in order to be totally self-sufficient.

The training base is available to trainees outside of ‘normal’ school hours in order that trainees may access the facilities and resources.
 
RESOURCES
 
Resources in the form of books are located within the training base. All trainees will be issued with library borrowing cards for Southampton University where Hartley library will be the main library to use. Computers can be used either in the Training Base or at the lead school. Many of the ICT lectures actually take place on site. All of the Partnership schools also make resources available to trainees.
 
ACCOMMODATION / CHILD CARE
 
Finding accommodation within easy reach of Holy Family School is the responsibility of the trainee. At this stage no accommodation is organised for trainees by the Primary Catholic Partnership. However, we will do all we can to point you in the direction of suitable accommodation. Southampton is a University town and as such there are a variety of agents who specialist in renting properties to students.

Southampton City Council provide a booklet of available child care facilities.
